Course Proposal for Pro-Bono Legal Advocates created using Illustrator, Powerpoint and Camtasia
Working in a team of four instructional designers, we built this proposal to meet the business needs of a non-profit legal venture. We proposed using ADDIE as our Instructional Design model and integrated elements of Design Thinking throughout the process.
Design Thinking provided the framework to create a thorough proposal that empathized with the lawyers’ learning needs, defined a clear problem statement and clear learning objectives, ideated solutions for the defined problem, tested the learning goals and success metrics prior to delivery, and delivered a thorough, thoughtful and well-designed proposal.
The result was an in-depth analysis and proposed solution to the firm's business need for a quick, comprehensive onboarding process for the pro-bono lawyers joining the firm. We provided comprehensive project documentation and a thorough storyboard to ensure we would have solid footing once the design was approved and implemented.
