This course was created after analyzing business needs for a group of ID trainers and finding there was a deficiency in their knowledge of how to incorporate microlearning to meet their own client's business needs. We used ADDIE as our design framework. As we progressed, we coined the humorous but apt term "MetaMicroLearning" when we decided to use a popular Microlearning platform - EdApp - to teach about microlearning. 

Establishing a business goal of this nature was a challenge but we found that "increase the fluency in and the application of microlearning principles and lessons by Instructional Designers across multiple learning design projects" was reasonable and measurable.
